When author, Roz Kay, spoke to us last week and started to talk a little bit about some of the books she has written, it really inspired me. I could not believe that she had met Roald Dahl – I found that really cool!
She is very creative with her books. It was so lovely to meet the woman behind all this fascinating imagination! I have not been able to read any of her books yet, but I definitely will – I already have ‘The Keeper of the Stones’ on order.
Roz was kind enough to read us the first chapter of it and it introduced us to the main character, Lizzie who unexpectedly transports to another time and must learn about the magic of the ancient stones. It was a very vivid first chapter and I cannot wait to read the rest. I would like to thank her so much for being an amazing role model.
