Alisha's Story

I have been a pupil at Badminton School since the age of nine, joining in 2014. I started off my journey at Badminton with not much knowledge of anything really, but over the years, Badminton has taught me so much, not just academically but physically and mentally too.

I have progressed so much over the years, enhanced my knowledge and become a well-educated individual. All of this would not have been possible without the support from The Badminton School Bursary Fund.

Badminton has provided me with a wide range of academic subjects, as well as extra-curricular activities and opportunities to better my education. Most importantly, Badminton has helped me to push my boundaries and encouraged me to learn more. The School has quite literally changed my life and I couldn’t be more grateful for the help from my Bursary and the teachers for giving me the best start in life.

Despite my families’ struggle with finances and my parents’ hard work ethic, the generosity of The Badminton School Bursary Fund has enabled me to have the best possible education and the chance to attend this brilliant school. This opportunity to better my education is priceless and I am extremely grateful.
