"At Badminton School Prep we believe that it is the breadth of learning experiences and happy community, from our youngest Pre-Reception to our oldest Prep 6 girls, that makes our school an inspiring and special place to be.
We encourage our girls to be curious about the world around them and we encourage their aspirations for the future. Our small class sizes ensure that we can get the very best out of every girl alongside ensuring that her voice is really heard, through collaborative and independent tasks. Most importantly, at Badminton School Prep we expect that our girl’s will be actively engaged in lessons and be prepared to take a risk with their learning.
It is a joy to be the Head of our wonderful community - the girls know each other; and I know every girl. As I greet them each morning, I love finding out what is going on in their worlds and hearing about their achievements and ambitions. Being in an all-girl environment allows them to know and celebrate who they are, be proud to be an individual, and gain the confidence and inner belief that will take them on through life. I believe that our girls approach subjects with an ethos of ‘Why wouldn’t I…?’ rather than ‘Can I…?’.
When you visit Badminton School Prep you will see that, with our friendly and comforting environment, also comes a calm but determined love of learning. To help achieve this in the Prep School, we have four Golden Roots. The Golden Roots are the heartbeat of all that we do, they help support us to be our best selves, and to be ready to thrive in a global society:
We would love you to come and visit us in the Prep, either for an individual tour or as part of one of our Open Mornings. You will find that this school is a very special place with a distinctive ethos and great character and I can’t wait to show you around!"
