LITTLE FISH SWIMMING LESSONS

"We certainly have the largest waiting list we've ever had for both Term time and summer holiday lessons!

I feel quite sad that so many of our children would be swimming at least short distances without aids by now if we hadn't had all the COVID-19 disruptions.

However, we are very lucky to be able to use your Swimming Pool and we hope to get lots of children back in the water this summer ready for any holidays they may be allowed to take."

BRISTOL FALCONS BADMINTON CLUB

"Bristol Falcons Badminton Club are delighted to be able to return to our junior sessions on Sunday mornings and look forward to the resumption of the Wednesday sessions for both juniors and adults.

The School/Club partnership is important to Falcons BC to continue to provide quality sessions and coaching in a good facility which encourages and cares for sporting activities.

REDLAND HOCKEY CLUB

“Redland Ladies Hockey Club were delighted to be welcomed back to Badminton School for their Club Day on Saturday 10th April.

The event was attended by an enthusiastic group of socially distanced members who were very grateful to be back on the pitch. Junior training started on Monday 19th April and has been attended weekly by over 50 young people. It's great to be back after a long COVID-19 interrupted winter. Many thanks to the school for reopening its doors!”

FILM LOCATION

Returning for my second shoot at Badminton, I've been blown away all over again by the incredible generosity and accommodating attitude of the entire events team. From the moment we first arrived on site for our recce, nothing has been too much trouble for the BaSE team, and everyone has gone the extra mile to make my team and I feel welcome. The wonderful range of spaces and facilities is a locations dream - to the extent we were able to film an additional exteriors scene on site, omitting the need for council permits or tangling with the general public! Whatever your needs, for filming or otherwise, I guarantee you won't find a friendlier or more professional venues team. Thank you!

ENGLISH SPEAKING UNION EVENT

"Many thanks for your assistance with the South West Region Final of the English Speaking Union's Public Speaking Competition this afternoon. Despite the delay due to teams from Torquay and Truro being held up because of an accident on the M5, you were helpful throughout in guiding teams to the Peace Memorial Hall, and ensuring that there were adequate refreshments for the competitors.

I'd be grateful if you would convey my thanks also, on behalf of ESU, to the Headmistress for making Badminton School available for the Regional Final.

I hope to see a team from Badminton in the Bristol competition again next year."
