The Speech and Drama Department would like to say a huge congratulations to Charlotte and Isabella for passing Diplomas with the London College of Music (LCM)!
Charlotte was awarded 96 marks (out of 100), which was the highest mark Badminton School has every received with this examination board, for all her work on her ‘Oral Communication’ Diploma. Whilst Isabella received another extremely high score of 92 marks for all her work on her ‘Acting’ Diploma.
Both girls had to put together a 15-minute recital based around a chosen theme, as well as answering theory questions orally, and being able to sight read text with just a minute’s preparation time. Due to COVID-19 the girls also had to compromise their in person experience by taking their exams online live through a camera.
Charlotte and Isabella now have the right to use the letters ‘Dip LCM’ after their names which is a huge achievement and testament to all their hard work.
