Sixth Form Drama

On Thursday, our A Level Drama pupils went on the first theatre visit of their course. It being in the middle of Lockdown, the performance was of course virtual! As the girls are studying 'Hedda Gabler' as one of their set texts, the opportunity to see the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School's reworking of the classic as a tale of claustrophobia for our modern times.

Having taken our GCSE pupils on a virtual theatre trip in the summer, the opportunity to watch alongside the girls and comment and chat during the performance is one that (in the absence of actually being there!) gives them a unique opportunity to discuss their thoughts in real time as the events in the play unfold.
