The children in Reception have been learning about British values with the help of Shaun the Sheep and his friends. They were lucky to be able to look at one of the original plasticine models which was used in one of the Aardman animations.
The children then made their own sheep using salt dough and a great deal of patience! As Shaun the Sheep is rather famous and comes from Bristol, they have also been looking at some of the sights which they may see in Bristol as well. One of these includes the Balloon Fiesta.
The children worked together to design their own hot air balloon showing great concentration and teamwork. Everyone was awarded an Early Years ‘Persevering Parrot’ Award at the end!
