We really enjoyed having Bartlett Boarders in Sixth Form on Saturday to play a variety of outdoor games. The afternoon started with a big game of Hide and Seek across the School site – some of those hiding were very difficult to find but we managed with some great organisational skills from the Sixth Form Boarders!
Tobi, Year 11 said, "This afternoon was a wonderful opportunity for senior and younger pupils to mix and I had a great time leading some of the games played.”
There were space hoppers and swing ball which Boarders had fun with as they raced around the trees on the lawn, and a few competitive rounds of swing ball were played between Sixth Form and Bartlett.
Phoebe from Bartlett said, “Our competitive side shone through in the game of rounders!”, and Mary, Lower Sixth, said, "An eye-opening experience where I got to practice my leadership skills. I enjoyed spending time with the younger girls and getting to know them".
All Boarders involved had a lot of fun, it was great to see the Houses being able to mix after such a long time being unable to do so.
Janelle from Bartlett commented that, “It was great to be given the opportunity to mix with the older girls as we don’t often see them due to being in bubble.”
We were very happy to welcome Bartlett on Saturday and we hope to do it again soon as all involved had a wonderful time!
