Recently, Jennifer, Nicole, Jasmine and Bea travelled to Ashton Park School to take part in the Year 10 Maths Team Competition. They competed against 14 other teams in five rounds of problem solving, calcudokus, logic puzzles and relays. After three rounds the girls were in joint first place, but a particularly strong performance in the challenging Base 6 Blockbusters saw them inch ahead to beat QEH and Bristol Grammar School into second and third places. The girls are pictured here with their winner’s medals and certificates. They now go forward to represent Bristol in the South West Final in Exeter. This latest success means that Badminton girls are the current regional Maths Team title holders in all three age groups.
