‘Flying Start was a lot of fun. We got to compete with other schools and see all their models. We also got to learn lots of things from other schools’ designs.’ – Michelle

‘We really enjoyed Flying Start as it was a great event and also allowed us to work together. Our teamwork really improved during the event.’ – Emily

‘Our group really enjoyed Flying Start. It was a great opportunity to meet new schools and build and fly a glider.’ – Daisy

‘Our group really enjoyed Flying Start as it was a great experience in engineering and we learnt a lot. It really helped us improve our teamwork.’ – Nadine

‘We had a great time doing Flying Start. Our group learnt a lot during this whole experience. It was very exciting to compete with other schools and present our poster to the judges. We have really improved our teamwork during this challenge.’ – Sofia

The girls’ gliders and posters will now form part of the Flight Exhibition in the Arts Centre on 7th February.
