As part of the High Flyers Programme, 12 ambitious pupils have completed their IGCSE Global Perspectives Course. Pupils have been attending lessons off-timetable for two years and have shown excellent resilience in completing an extra GCSE qualification a year early despite the challenges faced by two Terms of remote learning. The course affords pupils a greater awareness of a range of issues going on in the world and equips them with skills they will later build on at A Level, such as writing logical arguments and the ability to critically question a range of information and sources.
We celebrated completing the course with a delicious tea provided by the Badminton School Catering Team. The pupils and Mrs Richardson would like to thank Mrs Palmer for organising such a treat! Mrs Richardson would also like to thank Angaharad, Hannah, Nastasja, Marina, Beatrice, Nikki, Ruth, Yijing, Chenumi, Angela, Ace, and Hermione for being such wonderful company in our lessons, even at 8.00am on a Friday morning!
