We have had two wonderful pieces of news this week about three of our budding Badminton musicians. Zoe (Year 9) took her Grade 5 musical theatre singing exam at the start of the holiday and has since found out she has been awarded a Distinction!
Olivia and Rose, also in Year 9, recently heard they have been offered a place in The National Children’s Main Orchestra playing clarinet and violin respectively. Both girls started in the National Children’s Under 11 Orchestra and have been promoted through the Under 12 and Under 13 Orchestras before being selected for the Main Orchestra following auditions before Christmas. They will be attending residential courses at Easter and in the Summer holiday, with opportunities for performing in major concert halls across the UK. We look forward to hearing news of their concerts in due course.
All are excellent achievements after such a busy Autumn term and we congratulate them all.
