The Year 6 Chamber Choir have been busy this week...
On Tuesday afternoon the choir visited the Clifton Down shopping centre to sing carols in support of the Above and Beyond charity and its Golden Gift appeal for the Bristol Hospitals. An energetic hour of carols as well as songs not directly related to Christmas kept many shoppers entertained and we were very proud to raise just short of £100 during our time there.
On Thursday afternoon, the Chamber choir visited St Monica's trust to perform a concert of instrumental solos and carols. We were given a warm welcome and the singing and playing was much appreciated by many of the residents who came to listen.
