Two Badminton School girls, Jinju (Year 10) and Clare (Year 11) have been invited to attend a UKMT (UK Mathematical Trust) Olympiad Training Camp in Oxford this summer.
Only 22 pupils from across the country have been invited to attend the camp, which will offer a week’s intensive training in mathematics outside the conventional syllabus to the few most able young mathematicians in the country. The camp is also used to identify potential members of a squad of pupils who will continue training throughout the year with a view to representing the UK in one of the future International Mathematical Olympiads.
This is a huge achievement for the girls and we wish them all the very best of luck in the camp.
