Mrs Tear's Thoughts of the Week

It has been a great start to a (mostly) sunny Summer Term. The campus is buzzing now that the majority of pupils and staff have returned. The term got off to a swing with Year 10 innovating at their ‘Inspiration’ event, Year 7 and 8 taking calculated risks with answers in their Maths Challenge and the Acorns enjoying their slightly belated St George’s Day picnic, to name but a few highlights! Of course Year 11 and the Upper Sixth are very focused on their final preparations for their forthcoming assessments and so teachers are busy making themselves available to clarify and reassure, given the anomalous systems we are following in this year without formal public examinations.

I hope that you enjoy getting a glimpse back into Badminton through all the articles this week. I have really enjoyed seeing the new displays in Maths created by pupils in Art – there is so much talent in both Departments that the fusion of their understanding and creativity is a joy to see.
