The snow last weekend did, literally, create a change of scene.
It clearly proved motivating as even before 9 o’clock on Sunday morning snowmen could be sighted at various points of the campus!
I have no doubt that building snowmen proved a great active challenge and made those involved feel all the better for their creations (large and sma11).
I am pleased this gave us a different way to embrace ‘Red January’!
In the Junior School this week there has been a focus on kindness and that has also been really uplifting for our January spirits. I know that the cheery smiles and waves that the Nursery and Key Worker Pupils send through my windows as they skip to lunch really lift my spirits.
There was an abundance of acts of kindness this week too; Gaby in J6 baked cinnamon rolls to share with her family, Scarlett and Elisa in Acorns 2 sent each other postcards to say how much they were missing each other and Mrs Taylor made banana bread for her neighbours!
Many thanks to all our parents for the useful feedback about our remote provision and the very positive feedback about on-line Parent:Teacher meetings. Ahead of Half Term we do have further on-line information events – so do tune in if you can, to hear updates and ask any questions.
We hope to see you there!
