Despite the many restrictions in place last Term, many of our Badminton girls remained committed to their individual instrumental and vocal studies, undertaking a variety of graded examinations for both ABRSM and Trinity Boards.
While some pupils opted for the traditional in-person examinations in local Bristol centres, others braved the new and exciting world of virtual examinations in which performances were recorded either at home or in the Music Department and were subsequently sent electronically to be marked.
In the first few weeks of this new year, we have received the results and I am delighted to give congratulations to the following:
Year 8
- Rhian: Grade 2 Piano (Merit)
- Brittany: Grade 8 Piano & Grade 6 Harp (Merit)
Year 9
- Sabrina: Grade 5 Music Theory (Distinction)
Year 10
- Hannah: Grade 3 French Horn
- Marina: Grade 4 Piano (Merit)
Year 11
- Stang: Grade 5 Piano
- Lyra: Grade 5 Guitar
- Jenny: Grade 8 Piano (Distinction)
