This week, Ruth, Yijing and I were able to take part in the Cyber Development Days, run by the National Cyber Security Centre. During the course we were shown new software that is used by people who work in Digital Forensics, using the software to complete different activities.
We learned that you do not need to be set on a specific career early on in order to get a job in cyber security, you can always change your mind! I would recommend the course to everyone, whether they were interested in a career involving cryptography and digital forensics or not, because they might discover that they really enjoy it. The course was very interesting and I am very thankful that I was able to participate in it.
