We're delighted to announce that a number of girls in Year 7 and 8 are taking part in the BBC School Report Project.
The project allows students to develop their own video, audio or text based news report for a real audience and helps them to develop their journalistic skills. One of the news stories will be uploaded onto the School website which the BBC will link to via their interactive map meaning that the Badminton School news will be accessible to the BBC's worldwide audience!
The topics the girls chose to report on include the School's 160th Anniversary, notable Old Badmintonians, feminism and our new Sports Centre. On Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th March, the girls were off timetable and were able to spend two days conducting interviews, undertaking research, filming and editing the videos for their project.
