On Tuesday, Year 7 spent the day in teams, coming up with an enterprising idea to allow them to grow a start-up of £5 per pupil into a profit and build their entrepreneur skills.
After some brainstorming and lots of creative ideas, including customer research questionnaires to other pupils at breaktime, the groups settled on their product to sell and set about designing their logo and costing out what materials they needed.
The day ended with the groups presenting their product and design ideas to the rest of the year, as well as answering questions on the viability of their product and design.
After Half Term the groups will start creating their products before looking to sell them around School in the last few weeks of Term. Any profit made will then be given to one of the School’s chosen charities.
I really enjoyed today's activity which involved making a business as a group. I enjoyed this because I love the whole process from planning and brainstorming ideas to designing logos and finalising presentations!

I enjoyed this experience because I got to learn new skills and adapt to the budget we given. I liked it because we got to work with new people from the other Forms.
