Badminton once again welcomed many young artists to it's annual private Mary Fedden Exhibition, to view the work they had submitted. The theme this year was “Still Life”, a subject that Mary Fedden excelled at. The competition was fierce with over 150 entries from schools ranging from Stoke Bishop Primary to Exeter Cathedral School. Choosing a winner was a job no one envied!
Congratulations to Fearne from Exeter Cathedral School for being the overall winner and to all of the other entrants. We are so proud to see the competition go from strength to strength, year on year. Especially to Badminton’s, very own Asma Feheem who was awarded the Highly Commended prize for all the Badminton Junior School entrants. The judges thought she captured the atmosphere exceptionally with her colour tone and eye for detail. The whole image was expressive and evocative of the environment.
