Gold Crest Awards

A big 'well done' to Dilyara and Anson (Upper Sixth) who have both achieved prestigious Gold Crest Awards for their investigation into the amount of caffeine contained within different drinks.

During the project which involved 80 hours of work, they developed skills to extract and then analyse the caffeine in coffee and high energy drinks. The assessors were particularly impressed with the high level of Chemistry understanding that the girls demonstrated.
