Wednesday 28th June saw the arrival of the much anticipated Acorns’ Fiesta.
The morning began with an indoor Sports event for Acorns 1 and 2, cleverly adapted by Mrs Wistow and her team to cater for the rain, followed by a fantastic swimming gala for Acorns Reception, Acorns 1 and Acorns 2.
Lunch was held in the marquee and it was a delicious feast. Many thanks to Mrs Lang for catering for the Acorns and Mrs Macfarlane and Mrs Palmer for organizing the food for the parents and guests.
The afternoon Musical Ballet ‘Under the Sea’ was a superb end to a wonderful day. Mr Thomas and Miss Charlotte chose very apt songs and music for both the ballet and the musical part. The girls all looked amazing and they danced and sang out to the top of the marquee. Congratulations to all the Acorns for working so hard.
