It was wonderful to see so many of our parents and girls enjoying a very special Celebrating Badminton Day. We were blessed with beautiful weather and lots of interesting activities around School; all of which showcased the work of Badminton pupils.
The School is celebrating its 160th Anniversary this year and we like to think that it has been 160 years of progress as Badminton continues to develop in all aspects, most recently with our new Sports Centre. We were fortunate enough to welcome guest speaker, and old Badmintonian, Sarah Louise Nunn. She captured us all with her enlightening speech detailing her extensive career, and it was amazing to see her inspire our current pupils with the stories of her success.
It was fascinating to hear her detail her current work with The Louvre, Abu Dhabi and how she has channelled her ideas in this unique space and has allowed visitors to access and interacted with the universal theme of the museum, its striking architecture and temporary exhibitions.
