We are delighted to announce that we raised over £3,000 for the Bristol Area Stroke Foundation charity and our Thrive@Badminton during our wonderful Summer Fête event on Sunday 10th June!
As well as glorious sunshine we also had a huge variety of new stalls, activities and entertainment to enjoy this year including over 30 small local businesses selling a range of goods. Ready to entertain the crowds were the wonderful Marshfield Brass Band and Avon Owls. Lots of ice-cream, cream teas and crêpes to tuck into and classic games such as ‘hook-a-duck’, Facepainting and ‘Splat the Rat’ had everyone amused!
Thank you to all who have participated and helped in raising money for those two worthy causes.
