Girls, staff, friends and parents all enjoyed a wonderful evening of Fireworks Fun on Friday 4th November. Visitors were welcomed onsite by a team of Ambassadors, feeling very official with torches in hand and high-visibility jackets! There was a lovely, busy atmosphere in School and the House stalls were doing a roaring trade. Murray invited guests to win sweets by a test of hand-eye coordination; Baker brightened the night with glow in the dark face paint; Webb-J sold yummy candy floss to eager customers; Rendall impressed with their hair-braiding skill; Burke attracted visitors by using winter socks as the prize for their token throwing game and Badock caused a racket around their spooky lucky dip, filled with goodness knows what(!), and their glow sticks and bunny ears were popular. As well as this, Year Twelve set up a photo booth as part of their Young Enterprise project, with many fun masks and dress-up accessories. Over at the Junior School and in the Dining Room, people were able to enjoy mulled wine and toffee apples, with the occasional hot dog to warm visitors up on the cold evening. As the evening drew to a close, the fireworks closed the night with a bang (literally!), and a magnificent firework display was presented to an enthusiastic crowd! The evening was definitely one to remember!
