'Make Some Time' March Challenge

Whole School Wellbeing

Following on from the success of 'Red January', the Wellbeing Committee suggested that the School organise another pupil challenge, this time revolving around the concept of self-care.

Self-care is ‘a conscious act a person takes to promote their own wellbeing, physically, mentally and emotionally’ and can involve something as simple as reading a book or as complicated as trying a new recipe! It is an important behaviour to nurture as in taking care of ourselves, we will have more reserves to be resilient or to take care of others.

Over the course of March, we will be asking pupils to log their self-care activities, and we will be having Tutor Group and individual awards. To help give pupils a sense of activities that they can do, we are also launching a 'Self-Care Bingo Card' with ideas. We are hoping that as many pupils engage as they did with Red January and look forward to seeing all the things they do!

The Challenge officially started with the Wellbeing Team launching the 'Make Some Time' March Challenge in Senior School and Junior School assemblies on Monday 1st March.
