Forest School in the Junior School

This September we have started Forest School for our children in the Early Years. Each week our youngest girls put on their special kit and wellies and visit our Forest school outdoor area which we are lucky enough to have on site.

Learning is through play. Sessions are child led to support our girls' individual learning styles. Children are encouraged to develop independence skills and make choices. Through a range of activities such a painting with mud, discovering minibeasts in our  ‘bug hotel’ and creating things in our ‘mud kitchen’  our children gain a wider understanding of the world. It really is great fun!
