Claire was a world champion, member of the full England Squad and played at the Commonwealth Games as Centre and Wing Defence when England was one of the top three netball teams in the world. Claire explained that her father had been an inspiration and had supported her throughout her career. As well as holding down a full time position as Head of Games at a Bath school, Claire also trained for over 40 hours a week. Her message to the girls was if you believe in something enough, just go out and get it – no one is stopping you.
Claire presented all the girls with Colours for Netball, Hockey, Tennis and Rounders before giving the Junior Victrix Ludorum to Imogen, the Inter Victrix Ludorum to Joey and the Senior Victrix Ludorum to Philippa. The Winn Trophy, donated by the ex Head of PE, Jane Winn was given to Carmen and the Ovation Cup to Izzie.
