Following on from our collaboration with Nottingham Trent University, Charlotte Holden spoke to both pupils and parents on the findings on her PHD research into the question: ‘Does adolescents’ use of light emitting personal technology impair sleep and following day cognition?’
As well as the science behind the importance of sleep, Charlotte also spoke about the importance of understanding how technology impacts sleep and how we can improve or facilitate sleep. It proved to be an interesting and informative session, both in terms of supporting our girls in establishing positive sleep routines but also for parents and staff alike!
