Domestic Assistants

The principal focus of the role is the “hands-on” cleaning of the School. A high quality, courteous and friendly service is expected by the School for both internal and external customers. The post holder will be expected to be flexible working both independently and as part of a team.

Full-time (32.5hours):

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 6am – 1pm, Monday – Friday. Weekends on rota. 30 minutes unpaid break with complimentary breakfast provided. 
Salary: £11.25 per hour (to increase to £12.00 per hour from April 2024).

Part-time (15 hours):

Hours: 15 hours per week, 6am – 9am, Monday – Friday:
Salary: £11.25 per hour (to increase to £12.00 per hour from April 2024).

Weekend (12 hours):

Hours: 12 hours per week, 7am – 1pm, Saturday – Sunday:
Salary: £13.75 per hour.

Please note, this shift is female only as this is a girls’ boarding school. This is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act.

Evening (20 hours):

Hours: 12 hours per week, 6pm – 10pm, Monday - Friday:
Salary: £12.00 per hour.
