Last year when I started my HPQ, I began to explore sexism and poverty in India and as the year progressed, I found myself deeply immersed into the topic and thoroughly enjoying the process. This project allowed me to gain an understanding of how to research independently, how to reference and how to present my ideas to an audience. I improved my knowledge on the world around us, and also prepared skills that will help me in university and beyond.
Not only has this boosted my confidence, it has also allowed me to explore additional interests outside my GCSE subjects. This project has given me a chance to step back from exams and investigate something completely new and different that fascinates me. Completing the project this year was an amazing experience and I would certainly recommend it to younger Year Groups!
